Prismatic is seeking a foundational engineer to report directly to our CTO and lead the early stage development of our core applications. You will collaborate with our team to develop groundbreaking technology and address our customers' financial challenges. Responsibilities

Design and implement robust, end-to-end production-level software to make complex data accessible through enterprise-class applications.
Collaborate with with cross-functional teams and external partners to refine technical requirements and rapidly develop prototypes to assess feasibility.
Architect and implement backend services and APIs to support front-end applications.
Optimize database performance, ensure data integrity, and manage relational database schemas.
Ensure application security and data privacy by implementing best practices and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain documentation for code, system design, and operational procedures.
Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to continuously improve team processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
